How to Apply Glitter Powder Nails
If you want to make your nails look flashy, you should apply glitter powder nails to make your look really stand out. If you have never used this version of dip powder nails before, we would highly recommend you try it out. With this in mind, we thought we would share the steps that you should follow to apply glitter powder nails. If you can follow these steps, you can make your nails stand out.
Apply a Clear Base Coat
The very first thing you should do is to proceed with applying a clear base coat. You will need to apply this base coat evenly.
Dip the Nail in the Glittery Dip
Next, you should take the glittery dip powder and dip your nail into it. You will need to lay the powder over a flat surface, and then roll your nail back and forth. Then you can get your nails to absorb the glittery powder more effectively. You will need to be careful to cover the sides of your nails as well.
Remove Extra Glitter
You can simply tap the finger, so that you will be able to remove extra glitter that is remaining. If you notice that the glittery effect you have is not even, or looks chunky, you will need to use a finger in the other hand to press that carefully.
Wipe off with a Brush
After allowing the powder to stay on top of the nails, you will now be able to wipe off the excess. This is where you can swipe off the extra glittery powder with the help of a brush. This ensures that no excess remains on your nails to ruin your look.
Make sure that you take your time when applying the glittery powder. Otherwise, you will end up creating a mess!
Instead of rolling your nail over the glittery dip, you can also get a pinch of glitter using your other hand, and then sprinkle that over the nail where you have applied a wet base coat. After sprinkling enough glittery dip, you will be able to tap off and remove the excess dip. This can be quite tricky, so it can take a bit of practice. This is why you should ensure that the nails you have on the other hand are fully dry before you begin on the other hand.
