How to Dry Dip Powder Nails Fast
Dip powder nails look great, but they can take some time to apply. We are often asked the question of how to dry dip powder nails fast.
It is quite a common issue, and to solve this problem, we thought we’d write an article on how to help you out to make sure your dip powder nails dry as fast as possible.
The Process of How to Dry Dip Powder Nails Fast
Step 1
Begin by first sanitising your hands. It is important that you begin the process with clean hands. This prevents any infection from occurring. Once you have done this, take the time to file, shape and clean each of your nails.
Step 2
Before you begin the dipping process, fluff the powder to ensure it is ready to use and to prevent any clumps from attaching to your nails.
Step 3
This is a recommended step for those of you who want stronger nails. Apply no1 base to each nail and dip the nail into the clear powder. We would recommend that you do this in a circular motion to ensure powder covers all parts of the nail. When you remove the nail, gently brush off the excess powder with your brush.
Step 4
After completing this step, you then apply no1 base again by stroking the base outward to the top of your nail. Do this instead of stroking towards the base of your nail. It is important to ensure that all parts of the nail are covered with the base to give yourself the best nail powder application possible. Whilst doing this, make sure that you avoid getting the base and dip onto your cuticles. Dip into the colour powder.
Step 5
We would recommend that you apply at least 2 layers, but we would recommend dipping multiple times, especially if you have long nails! The dip tends to dry very quickly – often in just 30 seconds.
Step 6
After dipping, apply no1 base again. Then dip into the colour powder – remembering to brush off any excess powder. There is no need to apply any activator at this point.
Step 7
Take the time to carefully shape each of your nails so they look as nice as possible, and remove dust particles. To shape, you can use a buffer or file.
Step 8
Apply the no2 activator, and wait around one minute for the activator to dry.
Step 9
The final stage is to apply the no3 Top Coat for layer 1. After doing this, we would recommend that you wait one minute for it to dry. Then, apply the no3 top coat again for a 2nd layer.
Simple – you now have great looking dip powder nails!
